Great overnight location for travel...

Liked: Looked like whole hotel had been redecorated, public areas very neat and tidy. Both room itself and bathroom were very spacious and homely, loads of storage, spotlessly clean. Nice to have 2 chairs and a proper table. PG Tips teabags. Location surprisingly quiet despite proximity to A5. Not a holiday hotel, but a great overnight stop.We self-catered for breakfast but there is cafe in next-door garden centre if you don't need an early start, or don't want to use hotel's breakfast facility (must pre-order by 8pm previous night)
Disliked: Car park needs better lighting. Bed was comfy but had bit of a dip. Need to turn radiator off at bedtime otherwise room gets very hot.

Hotel needs updating.

Liked: Clean warm room.
Disliked: Very basic standard of an old fashioned motel. No USB sockets and noisy corridor. Very soft bed which wasn't exactly comfortable.

Liked: Being upgraded from ground floor to mezzazine bedroom. Bags of room!
Disliked: Road noise from A5 really caused issues for wife who did not enjoy her three nights 'sleep' in Room 5 - sorry! Next time we'll ask for room sat front!
