Liked: Great breakfast, clean room, good size room, value for money, ideal location for visits we had planned
Disliked: Surprisingly, considering it was winter, I found the room too hot! Outside lighting on carpark and towards the road was poor. Front door to the property wasn't secure

Liked: Easy unloading and arrival, great,duplex family room, giant bed , very clean
Disliked: pity the restaurant is still shut, the microwave is a life saver when travelling in January

Liked: Clearly freshly painted, so nice and clean...good sized rooms (28, 29), good sized and comfy bed...nice and warm. Ample parking.To say this was off-season, we were well catered for.
Disliked: It felt a little strange to be the only car in the car park and the only diners at breakfast. This is not a criticism because much accommodation hasn't recovered from Covid and they need to keep an eye on costs. In view of this, whilst we felt as though we were imposing, the stay was very pleasant.Visits to the local pubs promoted surprise that the hotel was even open. Perhaps reduce the 'CLOSED' sign over the restaurant or place an 'OPEN' sign over the hotel entrance.

Disliked: Poor quality motel with a lot of road noise from A5, very cold breakfast room in now permanently closed pub next door. Very average breakfast

Would recommend, but better of...

Liked: Friendly, polite, clean, and comfortable
Disliked: The evening meals were not available on the night, so we had to find somewhere else to eat, which was inconvenient.
