Great place to stay and...

Liked: The breakfast was delicious. Lots to choose from and we were sitting looking at the most amazing view of the sea. Service top notch. We were very satisfied and would most certainly return to Monturpie.
Disliked: There was absolutely nothing that we did not like. The place was easy to find and met all our expectations. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Liked: Monturpie was a lovely B&B which was very handy for a local wedding reception we attended. The host was particularly helpful and accommodating. Nice breakfast with lovely views too.

Disliked: Personally I would have liked a little less perfumed fabric conditioner used when the bedding was laundered.

Liked: The property was set in a beautiful location overlooking the Firth of Forth. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Liked: Spotlessly clean. Gorgeous decor. Cosy and comfortable. Great shower. Delightful host - helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend this property which has the most wonderful views across the bay.Faultless!!!!

Enjoyable stay

Liked: Owner is friendly, bedding and beds lovely, clean and comfortable Freshly prepared full Scottish breakfast, lots of choice fruit and cereals. Location ideal for local places of interest
Disliked: In the bathroom, which is really spacious, it would have been great,to have had storage to put toiletries on instead of on top of toilet cistern lid and a shower caddy to hold necessary toiletries when showering. A stool to sit on when dressing or to put clothes on. A bit of lighting at the entrance to property at night time as signage easy to miss. Or solar lighting on pathway up as driveway to property very uneven. Staircase to upper floor rather challenging, especially with luggage.
