Liked: I thought this venue was great value for money. The room was large and spacious and the price included breakfast. Don’t get me wrong, the rooms are rustic in fitting with the older building. But because it was so spacious it didn’t impact anything. The staff were all delightful the moment we arrived till we left. The booking in process and bringing us a pot of tea was a lush touch! We had a fabulous stay and would definitely return.
Disliked: The bathroom needed an update/ to be finished. ( Strawberry Hill)

Liked: The room was exceptional.The bed was extra large and so comfy.A bath fit for a queen.A private little courtyard.The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay perfect.Beautiful hotel and stunning grounds.An extra thank you to Ellie who was so lovely.

Really enjoyed it as always!!!
Liked: It’s very beautiful we have been here four times due to the stunning rooms and beautiful Spa
Disliked: We waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes for room service and it was cold. Thankfully they took the meals off the bill. The WhatsApp wasn’t very helpful either just use the main number to call is my advice to get fresh milk.

Beautiful hotel and would love...
Liked: Beautiful hotel for our daughters wedding. The venue room was stunning and Kate did an absolutely fantastic work. Kate and her team were very professional and worked so hard to make everything work perfectly. Beni was also very good working in and around the bar areas.
Disliked: The checking in at reception was absolutely shocking, taking 35 minutes to get our keys. Paula and the guy didn’t have a clue, given my daughter the keys to the wrong room, and Paula totally blanking me to check in someone else behind me first. I’d even checked in online before, which gave me a bar code but they didn’t know what the bar code was for lol. Then when I was eventually booked in they put £64 on my credit card without me even knowing. Even though I’d payed in full 7 months ago for our 2 nights! I tried to sort this out with the general manager but he wasn’t interested, his assistant Lauren Wilkinson did email me saying she would get back to me the next day but 6 days later still no response! This is totally out of order. Customer service should be the main priority of any business, so if the General manager doesn’t care what hope do you have for the staff below him.
