Very good
Liked: We had a bellman named Jonathan who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, including giving our five year old son a stuffed animal representing the aquarium. Our son talked about all the way home.
Disliked: Our faucet didn’t work in the bathroom sink. Only hot water and it didn’t turn off all the way.

Liked: The check in staff lady was AMAZING!! she was informative, helpful and kind. As well as the lady in the restaurant area who I presume is in management.

Nice location; staff can do...
Liked: Clean / Staff nice / charged car while in Valet
Disliked: There was a lot of noise at midnight (someone vacuuming) and people next door were load at 6am; when brought up to Briana (I think that was her name) at check out, there was very little feedback that made us feel good about the experience.

Basic Comforts Better than the...
Liked: Perfectly functional and comfortable hotel. The reason I stay there is for their firm matresses. The location is also perfect.
Disliked: Despite the good beds, the super thin comforter is too small for the bed. Makes no sense. But I still stay there because my back does best on their matresses - even better than the Intercontinental or Portola.

Comfortable and spacious for family...
Liked: Room sinkReally nice that the sink's counter was a long L-shaped counter, so that it was very spacious to put all our toiletries without worrying about any thing falling into the sink.Room bathroomThe shower door is a full sliding door that closes, as opposed to that design where it's just a glass wall with a open entry where lots of water could splash out.Room flooringI like that most of the flooring is a hard floor and NOT carpet. Carpeted hotel rooms can sometimes have lingering smells, and I get paranoid about how much disgusting stuff is hidden in it. At least hard flooring gives me more visual security about cleanliness, whether that is actually true or not.GymLoved the complimentary bottled water that is restocked in the gym.LaundryLoved that there is an industrial-strength washer/dryer that is FREE to use whenever I need AND that the powdered Tide detergent is complimentary. (Upon request)BreakfastThat avocado thing was delicious, and our waitress was friendly.Front deskI think I might've spoken with two different front desk people over the course of our stay, and they were great. Very professional customer service. They made eye contact while speaking with me, used language that exuded confidence in wanting to address my question/request, and always used body language that was forward. It's a bit hard to describe, as I don't often try to dissect what makes good customer service. I can say that they did NOT use any language that expressed uncertainty of what needed to be done next. I liked that their body language always seemed to face me directly, as though their attention was fully on me. It's not that I expect all customer service people to behave a certain way in order for it to be "professional", but I really noticed the difference.ValetQuick attentiveness, very polite, always made eye contact, never felt pressured to tip them (but I did)MiscComplimentary cushioned slippers!
Disliked: Room sink - Would be nice if water pressure was just a tad bit stronger.Room shower - There is a 6in diameter hole in the shower glass close to the shower valve handle, which I guess is for easily turning on the water from the outside without having to be inside the shower stall in order to avoid a sudden spray of cold water. It's a novel feature but also annoying when water splashes through that hole while actually showering. It is located next to the toilet, so water splashes off your body and gets onto the toilet. Not sure if there are any "hacks" to prevent splashing through that hole.Room thermostat - I wish that the 60 degree setting would actually feel a little bit cooler than whatever the hotel had actually set the minimum temperature to.Pool - The pool looks nice, but I wish there could be an indoor pool. It can be chilly outside sometimes. Oh well, can't really ask for the hotel to rebuild itself. If the pool could be heated OR if some sort of outdoor heating solution was available to make it comfortable in colder weather, that would be amazing.

Very good
Liked: My family and I were greeted by the staff and felt welcomed upon arriving. The valet service was great. Our room was also clean and spacious. The room service was also very nice. Our room had a mini refrigerator and a nice TV. The coffee maker was good and easy to use.
Disliked: The faucet had low water pressure. It made washing our baby's bottle time consuming and difficult. We requested a crib but was told none were available, and instead, we got a play pen. Minor inconvenience, but a crib would've been good for our 6 month old baby to sleep in.

You certainly need to do...
Disliked: 1. yelling homeless on the Main Street made impossible to sleep.2. beds are not two person’s standard wide even for us with normal BMI.3. Awkward bathroom arrangement is terrible for anyone to stay more than one in the room.Who designed this? Does water shower disposal system require PhD??? No separate ventilation in an open bathroom We finally have learned why you need a whole in the shower glass… to operate shower water system when it gets warm before getting all the cold water inside on you. And good placement of the main mirror in the room - you can see entirely what other does there in the so called bathroom.No bed side tables and power sockets - only one between two beds? Ridiculous and simple design and functional failures. And all of it in Marriott hotel chain.We have been offered a change but while arriving late it was not available anyone.
