Ok hotel, terrible service

Liked: Nice location right on the beach, can hear the waves from the room of you book the ocean view
Disliked: Horrible service. We were traveling with our 6 mos old and the room was not ready at checkin time so we were made to wait more than an hour in the lobby. They couldn't even tell us when the room would be ready. Additionally, we asked for a crib (at booking time and at checkin time) which was never delivered despite making a few more additional requests at the front desk and over the phone.

Disliked: Refrigerator didn't workCoffeemaker was terrible.Took asking 3 different people before we finally got extra pillows and blankets. before We were in bed before they brought us the last one.

We came 2x for a...

Liked: We stayed her 2x between 11/29/24 & 12/24/24, and both times we were especially impressed with the front desk and cleaning staff. In November Josh helped us at the front desk, and in December Alex fielded a couple of calls I made with questions, while Owen helped us once we arrived. Without exception they were all personable & professional at the same time.As there had been a lot of rain, we used towels when sitting outside by the firepit, and the woman who was cleaning was also quite nice when I asked for a couple of extra towels.All other staff we came in contact was also terrific, although I don't have their names.
Disliked: While The Lantern served EXCELLENT food for breakfast, we didn't particularly care for their dinner menu, nor it's limited selection of less artsy dishes.

You cannot beat the location....

Liked: Thé property is literally ON the beach. We stayed only one night but we could have stayed much longer. It was the day before Christmas and the hotel was beautifully decorated, very cozy. It rained all the time we were there. However the common facilities are made for you to watch the waves in a cozy setting with a fireplace! We enjoyed spending time in that common leaving room. If we come back to the area, we would definitely stop by this place. Hopefully on summer time to enjoy the outdoor settings as well.
Disliked: Parking price.

Liked: Hotel was beautiful, friendly staff, clean room.
Disliked: The main restaurant was awful. Staff were slow, unhelpful and the chicken was undercooked. If I wasn’t so exhausted from travel I would have complained.

VERY NICE

Liked: THE ROOM HAD A NICE PANORAMIC VIEW AND THE SOUND OF THE OCEAN WAS VERY RELAXING. ALSO, THE LOUNGE AND BAR AREA WAS VERY RELAXING. THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD, BUT WOULD LIKE MORE CHOICES FROM THE DINNER MENU.
Disliked: MY MAIN CONCERN IS THAT THERE ISN'T ACCESS FOR ADA WHEN WE WANTED TO OPEN THE DOORS TO THE LOBBY. MY HUSBAND IS IN A WHEEL CHAIR/SCOOTER AND THERE WAS NO AUTOMATIC DOORS OR HANDLES.
