I was given the option of choosing a smoking room or non smoking room. Being a smoker I was happy to see this choice (from ConcertHotels.com) but when I got to the hotel it was a smoke free one. Oh well. When I booked the room I was given a total of $96 and change. When I checked in I had to pay $207 and change. $100 deposit and the rest was for the room. This was something I was not told about beforehand. Overall I'm not happy with the lack of information I was given, but the room was what I expected for a highway hotel.

Disliked: 1. My wife booked my stay through booking.com. The check in procedure is horrible for that kind of situation. The front desk initially wouldn’t let me check in. I offered that they could speak with my wife or get an email from her. Not good enough. They wanted an email from her with photo id. That is beyond ridiculous. In this day and age I can’t believe that this doesn’t come up on a regular basis and that you’re probably pissing off a certain percentage of your customers.2. I’ve never had to make a deposit before at other facilities and find it unwarranted. Instead of just leaving my keys upon checkout I had to wait while someone checked the room and then wait for the refund to be processed. In my view this was totally unnecessary.

Disliked: The air conditioner is very noisy. At least two bottles of drinking mineral water should be provided (even if it’s the cheaper kind).
