I was given the option of choosing a smoking room or non smoking room. Being a smoker I was happy to see this choice (from ConcertHotels.com) but when I got to the hotel it was a smoke free one. Oh well. When I booked the room I was given a total of $96 and change. When I checked in I had to pay $207 and change. $100 deposit and the rest was for the room. This was something I was not told about beforehand. Overall I'm not happy with the lack of information I was given, but the room was what I expected for a highway hotel.

Liked: Room was clean, staff great, breakfast great.
Disliked: but we could not turn off the bathroom light or noisy fan. The light switch was broken and no maintenance staff to fix it.By the time the 4 of us wished to shower, found behind the curtain, the tub was dirty with mud and salt. Looked like last guests had washed snow boots in the tub. When we tried to clean it, the water backed up and took all night to drain. We only stayed one night but the 4 of us could not shower and could not sleep due to the noisy fan/light in bathroom. such a shame have stayed here before and will again but not in room 212.

Not a good place to...

Disliked: No smile or greeting form the hotel staff except in the reception area. Staff in the breakfast area was not very friendly and when meeting other staff in the hotel corridor you do not get any greeting. Very different compared to other hotels. It seems that most of them do not speak English well.

Liked: Breakfast was fine. Food was fresh coffee was excellent. The staff were very polite friendly and accommodating.Our two day stay was on the whole a very pleasant experience with a couple of small challenges.
Disliked: There were only a couple of issues. We forgot toothpaste. The front desk clerk checked to see if he had some and then suggested the vending machine. Unfortunately it wasn’t working! It was pretty inconvenient to have to drive to go get toothpaste late in the evening. A small but to us a significant item which would be lovely if kept on site for emergencies.The only other issue was the bathroom fan. It goes on Automatically when you turn on the light but was so loud my husband had his evening bath in the dark with only the hall light on.
