Someone should restore this place!

Liked: Easy to find, beautiful old building and grounds. Morning staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Had to wait half hour plus for staff to check in - he was not on site. Dirty linens piled on tables from breakfast at 8pm, overflowing trash in front hall was not a great introduction. This place has tons of potential but needs a serious handy person - sprinklers pushed through cracked drywall in bedroom, peeling wall paper in dining room, faded/torn curtains, generally worn out.

Disliked: Bed was very stiff, yet made alot of noise. Hole in ceiling where plaster was starting tk come down.

Liked: The breakfast was very good with lots of variety and easy to get to.
Disliked: I would first of all, remove the Hindu gods in the hallways. And the psychic advertisement at the front desk and in the rooms. I am a Christian and I believe Jesus is the way the truth and the life. However, the staff was amazing. The breakfast was very good in the house. Had a nice charming appeal about it.

Liked: Close to Frankenmuth...Jacuzzi
Disliked: Heat couldn't be regulated ..our suite on the 1st floor was very hot, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. Also, our suite was marketed to have an additional bath room in addition to the Jacuzzi Tub. This was not the case, we had to rig up the hand held shower wand that appeared to be recently added to Tub. No shower curtain. We've stayed in the Acker Suite several times in years past, and always had use of 2nd Bathroom, with shower. Curtains, mini blinds, pictures, walls just filthy. It's so disappointing we used to love staying there. Never again!

Beautiful place

Liked: Beautiful home and wonderful breakfast. It made it easy to gather with friends and very close to Frankenmuth
Disliked: It was a bit cold in the room despite having a gas working fireplace. They provided heaters to use, which helped off set cold.
