Modern and very clean hotel...

Liked: Modern, fresh, comfortable and clean. Fantastic breakfast and staff all very friendly

Good for leisure stay, but...

Liked: Very clean and glamorous.
Disliked: The fire alarm suddenly came up 6 times in different during sleeping hours, and then I went out side of the floor (5/f), and saw 5 different residents was freaked out wondering if it was a really fire! Then fire alarm came up again another 4 times, one of us went back inside room to call reception, and realised there was no short cut button on the phone. Then we searched google and call that number, no respond.After about half hour, we didn’t hear fireman car sound, so we decided to “assume” it was a false alarm.So, during the whole night, no staff contacted us to not panic, non the next morning explain what happened .Also, internet is unstable, I was there 5 nights, every night reach 11pm, no way to connect WiFi more than 5min.In comparison to CitizenM (2min walk), which I stayed for work for 6nights (before coming here) their rooms are 30% cheaper, beds are bigger, WiFi is stronger. Since I came for work in the first 6 nights, I highly recommend CitizenM. But then when I stay for leisure, I prefer Virgin’s cleaness, glamour looking space.

Liked: Gorgeous hotel with two restauranrts, 3 bars and a roof top pool. 20% discount on food and drinks for residents was a nice touch as was the steam room shower, coffee machine, full minibar. Everything you'd expect from Virgin.
Disliked: Reception staff were a bit mechanical and not being able to credit points on Virgin Red because the booking predated joining was a bit mean and inflexible
