I wouldn’t stay there again,...

Liked: Location and friendly
Disliked: No lift and working was carried inside( none was mentioned on i booked, it was disappointing as I wouldn’t choose if I knew it!

Value on Chamin Vert

Liked: This is the 2nd time I've stayed in this hotel. Its location is a winner for me - Pere Le Chaise Metro at the top of the road, and all the sights and sounds of Paris within walking distance. The hotel itself is very basic, but we literally use it to sleep in, and that makes it excellent value. The beds are comfortable enough, and shower pressure is good. Everything is clean. The hotel is undergoing a programme of redecoration and rewiring at the moment, but it didn't affect our stay, apart from making sure we didn't brush against any walls on the way upstairs. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Disliked: The street outside can be a bit intimidating at certain times of the day, but no worse than similar streets in other global cities, or even in other areas of Paris. Keep your phone away and your wits about you, and you'll be fine.

Decent, but be sure that...

Liked: Its a really good location, and price is okay. Very close to Metro stations a lot of markets around and places to eat. Its decent.
Disliked: We got the room on the 6 floor, and there is no Elevator. Its horrible. How could u name ur hotel "Modern" without elevator in there, name it "Ancient'. Everything would be much more better if there would be an elevator. It's awful when you walk all day in the city, you're tired, and when you come to the hotel you remember about this staircase, you have no desire to go up there.

Passable

Liked: The location was great, friendly cafes and bars. Metro was easily accessible and got us everywhere we needed to be.
Disliked: Founds hairs on my pillow when I arrived. Kettle was empty , two teabags with two paper cups. I went and bought coffee and milk for our room, stayed three nights and fresh cups were never provided. Didn’t particularly like having to leave our keys with the front desk when we went out. Also there is no elevator, but the stairs are steep, and no offer to help with luggage. There was some decorating being done , and as the rooms are not soundproof as advertised, (could hear everything, even the neighbors showering )we were woken up early two mornings of our stay.

Good

Liked: Good position, close to 2 metro stations, the neighborhood is nice, full of restaurants and bars, the rooms are quite ok.
Disliked: There is no elevator.We were ok because we had just a backpack each, but somebody with a heavy luggage or with mobility problems such as an old person might have problems.

Good hotel for nice price.

Liked: Nice view, clean room, comfortable bed.
Disliked: You could hear other neighbors

Exceptional

Liked: The staff were lovely and were very helpful. one staff saw me and friend struggling with our luggage and was helpful enough to take our luggage with us to our room. Even changed our room two floors down to give us a better accommodation. That was very nice of the staff since there was no lift for us to use.

Expensive disappointment

Liked: The staff was kind and the location is good
Disliked: The beds are really old and worn out, there are no duvets, just a fleeceblanket (with oil stains). The water stopped working in the middle of the day, extremly noisy and i can hear my neighbors pee and everything else that they do. It was super cold at night because it is so badly isolated and the heating went up in the middle of the night and we had no control over it. We ended up sleeping with the windows wide open because it got so hot in the room due to the heaters while its 1 degree outside.
