Good spot downtown Boise.

Liked: This is good as a more budget friendly spot in downtown Boise. Cute bar. Nice staff. Safe location. Parking etc.
Disliked: The room was OK. Clean, but it's also not a 4 start spot.

Very cool gem in Boise...

Liked: The rooms at the Modern were the most comfortable our group experienced on a 3 week roadtrip. We loved the walk-in showers, the very cozy beds and bedding, and the restaurant in the evening. We also liked the branding - very cute.
Disliked: I was a little disappointed in breakfast, especially at the price of this hotel. After a wonderful dinner the night before I had higher expectations for the breakfast offering than microwaved eggbake or banana bread. We arrived in the middle of breakfast time and there was no more orange juice and the server was reluctant to make more. The coffee was good!
