Good place to stay overall.

Liked: Location to Commodore Ballroom.
Disliked: Floors were uneven.

Not impressed. Would not stay again. So close to being a really nice hotel.

Liked: Great bathroom, bed and TVs.
Disliked: The rugs were filthy with stains - had to wear my shoes. Furniture was stained, marked up with wood peeling off. Not vacuumed. Was upgraded to a suite that was across the street. The elevator opened up to a parking garage with a glass door to 2 suites. As a woman alone, I felt very unsafe and vulnerable as the downstairs door was open to anyone as the door to the parking garage.

Had the room to stay overnight while checking out Vancouver and seeing a concert.

Liked: It was very nice and clean. Had everything I need.

It may not be so...

Liked: It is quaint and its architecture in general suits me! And it is at the very center of the city!

Ideal for our needs

Liked: Lovely hotel in a great a great area. The building has real character. There is a cocktail bar and sports bar in the same complex. Both were very good. We had two amazing sleeps. Would recommend for a night or two.
Disliked: The rooms we had were very small. It was actually difficult to get around the bed. I would not recommend this room for more than a night or two. The room was furnished with a bed, a small closet, and a chair. Really, not enough space to unpack.

Lovely character hotel with great...

Liked: Great boutique hotel in a reasonably good location. Nice room with polished wooden floors and a good size bathroom with a bath tub. Really nice friendly and helpful front of house staff. Check-in and check-out was a breeze.
Disliked: You should know you can hear the neighbours talking through the walls, and the hotel is on a busy road so there's street noise. Not a deal breaker, just letting folk know.
