Liked: Lovely old mansion house.
Disliked: Room was very very small. Would have been good for children but not two adults. No decent chair to sit on. No table only a nightstand.

Liked: Mary and Raymond were exceptional hosts Raymond gave me a comprehensive history of the lodge and military history in Kildare which was really interesting.The setting was idyllic I wish I could have stayed longer

Liked: Quiet location. Had the best sleep in a long time. Perfect hosts who go out of their way to help Lovely breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Hope to stay again. Thank you Mary and Raymond for everything.

Truly historic Irish country home,...

Liked: The house is absolutely charming and the hosts Mary and Raymond were so friendly and warm. So much history and knowledge here. We were shown into our beautiful light filled room, that had spectacular views over the stunning countryside. The bed was so comfortable. Facilities were great and clean. Breakfast was wonderful. I will always remember the sweet sound of the birds singing us into the morning. There is a large town 5 mins drive away with lots of pubs, restaurants, and normal amenities. Such great value for money.
