Good budget hotel

Liked: Central location and reasonable price are the factors I chose this hotel. Staff responded to my request, room facilities clean and comfortable made this a very good budget hotel.
Disliked: The place has been worn out for sometime and needs some renovation.

A great place to stay...

Liked: Clean and comfortable, as always. Easy check in and out system.
Disliked: Unfortunately, this time (unusually) the heating was not working in the room.

Passable

Liked: It was a good location if you wanted to be in the middle of everything in the city centre.
Disliked: It is very old and things are broken everywhere.The doors are extremely noisy (need some oil), especially in the middle of the night. Can be noisy in the weekend at night as the property is right in the middle of a busy going out partying street. It is ok (ish) for 1 or 2 nights.

Liked: Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room was comfortable, clean and included towels.Ensuite bathroom with shower cubicle.Kettle with tea and coffee.Bed was really comfy, for the few hours I slept after a heavy work Christmas doo.I would come back again
Disliked: Nothing

Won’t stay there again

Liked: Not a lot only location we went home after one night
Disliked: Lots of very steep stairs

Pleasant

Liked: The staff are nice and responsive. The place is very convenient, near to the train station, near to the markets, grocery store, castle, etc.
Disliked: The water in the shower is either cold or too hot even if i readjust it, so i ended up taking a shower in cold water as i couldnt bear the hot water. There was a heater inside the toilet so it helped. Also, the faucet in the sink wouldnt close completely so the water is dripping

Perfect location but expect lots...

Liked: Location was perfect, really central. Staff very friendly
Disliked: Toilet was leaking after flushing - didn't report to staff due to only noticing early in the morning. The 8 flights of stairs to the room was a killer but definitely got my exercise in!
