Clean great location.

Liked: As advertised lots of stairs. Five flights. Room was clean tidy and warm. Location excellent. Showering facilities good. Disappointed in the three coffee satchels and one spoon left for an overnight booking for a couple was pretty poor, esp considering the climb back down to get some.

Liked: Large rooms and clean, had iron and ironing board, towels, kettle and condiments, hairdryer, location couldn’t be better
Disliked: Green emergency light was bright at night, noise from people going in and out of room 7 next door in early hours twice, 1ish and 4ish, singing and shouting, some not staying there, no respect for others

Very good

Liked: Great location and value for money right in the city centre. Great communication from owner beforehand with useful info re parking and checkin. Tea and coffee. Towels. Comfy bed and n8ce bedding. Toiletries. A bit like staying in a slightly scruffy Travelodge.
Disliked: Very steep stairs, but fine for 1 or 2 nights if you are reasonably fit.

Exceptional

Liked: Central location, helpful and responsive staff. I came after check in time and was already told to pick up keys from hotel opposite which worked out well. The staff of ML Lodge just happened to be still there and kindly helped me on the luggage going up steep staircase, a big thank you to you ! Stayed many times, never have any problem. .
Disliked: Narrow stairs if with luggage but knew it before booking.

Accommodation for Six Nations

Liked: It's location to the Principality stadium
Disliked: It was very drab. It needed updating and decorating . TV signal was poor, requires a booster to improve signal . If it wasn't ideal for the rugby, we wouldn't recommend it. Extremely high cost for a room with worn carpets and waterstains on the ceiling( match day premium) . Having said that, it was clean. The bedding was clean, and stadium was 2 minutes away and within walking distance of all amenities
