Liked: It was quiet and relaxing.
Disliked: The bed was two singles together, so kept falling in the gap. Bathroom floor tiles were cracked and grout missing. Room needs updating for a luxury hotel.

Liked: Stunning location, and a great area for some nice walks.Staff were curtious and helpful. Food was lovely. We had breakfast at the main building and dinner at the 'sister' venue across the road.
Disliked: Room was lovely although quite small but ok for the 1 night.Ensuite was disappointing, the shower was broken and cleanliness was not to a high standard which would have been expected at a 4* hotel.We booked a Spa Hotel so we could have use of a Spa but were disappointed that you could only use it if you paid additon charges for a treatment; read the small print.

Could have been perfect but...

Liked: Beautiful buildings and grounds set in a picturesque village. Modern rooms with a cosy feel
Disliked: No hairdryer in our room which should have been there, bedside light fell off the wall and the pool, sauna and steam room is only available if you pay for a spa treatment.
