Liked: Beautiful building and location, the room was very clean and well equipped with easy access to the spa and restaurant. The facilities and customer service were all to a high standard and the pregnancy massage in particular was amazing!
Disliked: The wait time in the restaurant was quite long, we booked a table for 7pm but didn’t eat until nearly 8.30pm. Only the tea and coffee in the room were complimentary, a little treat considering the price of the stay wouldn’t go amiss!

Liked: This lovely hotel is gorgeous, that character and charming location with the river and grounds are amazing. We arrived Saturday evening where we were treated to an upgrade to the junior suite! We were chuffed. The room was cosy and comfortable with the White Swan a minutes walk away we were really happy. Unfortunately we didn’t get to experience the SPA as we didn’t plan ahead but it looked sensational. In the hustle and bustle of daily life this place really relaxed us. The cosy bar upstairs is lovely and relaxing. Breakfast is fantastic hot and fresh, beautiful. The staff are all really friendly polite and helpful they have a great team which they should be proud off.We really didn’t want to leave today and have came home to tell the family and get ready to book next year but for two nights rather than one !Thanks for making our stay so lovely.
Disliked: Bed was a little uncomfortable as it was two singles put together but this didn’t affect our lovely experience
