Amazing

Liked: The receptionist who worked on 6th March - 7th March with curly hair was outstanding and went over and above every time we spoke to here even recommending an amazing restaurant.
Disliked: Nothing

Average.

Liked: It was very scenic and quiet
Disliked: The dinner was extremely over prices The room didn’t look like the photos The spa being an extra £25 just to use the pool when the room was already £175 for 1 nightThe room had a really loud fan in the bathroom that took extremely long to turn off No toothpaste / toothbrushes provided

It was ok..

Liked: the setting and location was beautiful.
Disliked: The hotel and room was very run down. Our room was tiny with no space to move. It also wasn't very clean and had opened half eaten packets of biscuits in the draw. the bed was extremely small and uncomfortable for a double (i did request a twin room). It was a surprise for my best friends 30th birthday so I also requested that they put a note in the room saying happy birthday etc, which they said they would do but nothing was in the room on arrival.

Liked: The surrounding and staff were amazing.
Disliked: Not being able to use the facilities unless you purchased a treatment, which for 2 people would have been very expensive.

Liked: Strange offerings for dinner and breakfast. Ok but not wow. Cold dining room. Cold bar.
Disliked: Cold dining area but boiling hot room.

Liked: We loved sitting out by the fire and breakfast was lovely.
Disliked: The room was not very clean and the bed was two singles pushed into one which made sleeping uncomfortable.

Disliked: The downside was no mobile phone service and the dining experience; not a lot of food options to choose from the menu

Liked: The property is situated in a great location and the grounds itself are beautiful
Disliked: Our room was very dirty and the breakfast was a huge disappointment. For the money charged per night the cleanliness should be at a higher standard. The breakfast for us was disappointing , we opted for full English, we wasn’t offered any toast , it didn’t include any beans and the portions was very very small (but that is just our personal opinion) also the scrambled eggs were an odd colour unsure what they put in it! Not to my taste
