Great Place for Quality Time...

Liked: Very cozy and comfortable with plenty of hiking, restaurants and music nearby. We visited New Paltz, saw music at the Falcon in Marlboro and went for a hike in Minnewaska State Park. The breakfast, view, room and staff were all exceptional.

Meh

Liked: The view of the mountains out the back was beautiful. (Unfortunately, our room faced the parking lot.) The large common room with it's big windows was lovely.
Disliked: The hotel had an institutional feel. Kind of reminded me of my mother-in-law's Assisted Living place. The furniture and the decor in the rooms was very generic.I wasn't looking for a "spa" (whatever that's supposed to mean in this context) but this was nothing like a "spa" - why does the hotel bill itself that way?

Amazing service in a beautifully...

Liked: The service and charm blew us away. You really feel like you're taken care of. It 15 mins away from the best hiking in the Hudson Valley. There are also some trails on the property. We spend all night around the fire facing the beautiful Gunks Ridge.
