Horrible!

Disliked: The property was filthy , you could tell that someone had walked in there cause there were shoe marks! The toilet bowl dirty , the mirrors dirty looked like someone had used a dirty cloth to clean them. Then the stench!! Oh goodness me, we had to leave could not stay . The staff seem to know that their rooms aren’t up to standard because all they said was “aww”. Do better Mindil!!!

Liked: Not really much I liked about Mindil to be honest. Only good thing they have is the pool.
Disliked: Where to begin?! Really dated hotel! Rooms from 1st floor to 3rd are badly needing a renovation. Definitely decor from 80s/ 90s. Hotel needs to badly install a glass facade around there walkways from 1st floor to 3rd like they've done on the ground.We had a few problems when we stayed for 4 nights. Really loud guests in floors above and below. Maintenance work being done on room next door, noise and fan being left on all night to dry paint?! Surely someone does the rounds in each floor from the engineering department?Really rude staff at Pool bar and reception! Never came across a night time DM having such an attitude when we did mention our complaints to him about an upgrade even though we had spoken to his colleague earlier and she had shown us new rooms which seemed a lot better than the ones we had prior, she was a lot more understanding than him but supposedly she hadn't passed on all the information we had told her earlier which I highly doubt! Also think housekeeping need more training a lot of basic things weren't put in our room when first checked in. Wouldn't recommend Mindil to anyone. Much nicer accommodation in Darwin like ZEN for instance. Definitely not a 5 star hotel from what I was told.
