Location perfect but greatly disappointed...
Liked: The location was perfect
Disliked: I was expecting a "Serviced Apartment" Think we were greatly mislead by the photographs used to promote this booking. The photographs were of a lavish apartment, with its own hall way & separate areas. What we actually got was in fact a small tired, dimly lit hotel roomWas actually very disappointed as I'd booked this for my husbands 60th birthday

A great hotel in a...
Liked: I very much liked the location of the hotel, the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room and the happy / friendly bar environment. The room was small but was in line with my expectations and fine for a short stay.
Disliked: I struggled with the light switch for the lamps above the bed. It was very difficult to switch them on and at night time impossible to switch them off. I had an illuminated night. I am sure this defect can be easily resolved.

Clean hotel, polite staff, very...
Liked: Check in staff were polite, helpful, and efficient. The room was small, but that's what we booked, so that's fine. It was clean and nicely decorated. The location was very handy for the West End theatre we visited.
Disliked: There was no communal area such as a bar, where we could sit in comfort having a quiet drink in the evening. We had to go through Mimi's bar to access the hotel, so same name, but apparently the bar was run separately from the hotel, so we weren't allowed to have a drink there. That was completely unacceptable to us, and spoilt the evening for us after we'd been out for a nice (if overpriced) meal.We were told breakfast available for £5, but given the high price of the tiny room, we didn't bother. There was no kettle in the rooms, which given the amount we paid was ridiculous. There was a Nespresso machine, a few coffee and tea pods, and a very small number of "milk sticks". We didn't try the coffee, but the tea was utterly vile. For the price we paid I would expect a proper kettle and tea/coffee at least. There was also only one small bottle of water, which is not enough for two people. The room as too hot, I presume due to underfloor heating being set to "cremate"! The room had aircon but it was noisy, so we opened a window which at least got some airflow, but apparently visitors to the west end have no respect for people who might be trying to sleep nearby. Even with earplugs it was hard to sleep. The racket outside eventually died down about 2am.I don't mind paying extra for the West End location, but to have that and the other issues is really not OK.

Liked: Very clean and comfortable. Requested a quiet room which met expectations, amazing considering it is in the heart of soho.

Passable
Liked: Location.
Disliked: Extremely small room. Less than 1 meter from edge of bed to wall on two sides, ended up walking round the bed sideways...
