Learned lesson; just focus on...

Liked: The property is ok; is what you expect from a Marriott branded hotel. The advertised rate indicate that there’s parking included in the rate. Upon check-in I was informed that there’s parking but it’s only valet and 45$/day. Check in clerk rather than trying to fix it was rude and told me that she could help find me other hotel in the area (oldest trick I. The book) while she was doing this I was able to find in one of my parking apps a spot in the public garage ACROSS THE STREET from the hotel parking for 21 dollars a day!!! It could have been so easy to just tell me my options but this clerk rather chose to go in with the swindle. I secured my parking in my mobile phone while she was going on with the check-in process. I didn’t mention this to her and once she was finished ex I asked her if she was the shift manager; she wasn’t. I requested to talk too the manager and she went into a word-salad/mumbling response about why her manager was not available at the time— ridiculous excuses.Just got my keys and moved o; not the best first impression. During check-in we were told there was daily housekeeping (great!!). It was indeed daily however beds were made only the first day; second and third day only bathroom was cleaned and towels replaced; also courtesy water was replaced however trash bins were not emptied and beds were not made….. baffled by this one!!!

Liked: comfortable and convenient to the convention center. easy access to most places
Disliked: The outside windows were filthy. Granted the view was only a parking garage from the window, but could barely see that due to the outside of the windows being very dirty.

Liked: Good location. Safe and secure.
Disliked: Valet was short staffed and took a long time to get our car. One time it was left out for hours as no one drove it to the lot.

Liked: Nice lobby and staff. Very good beds.
Disliked: The TV was not in great shape. There is 2 lines on the right and left and the picture is not in HD.
