A magnificent property but badly...

Liked: The gardens are magnificent
Disliked: No information in room re facilities, menu for room service, heating information etc. Also no microwave or any eating utensils, only teacups and saucers and wine glasses; bath and tiles needed renovating as did the carpet in the common areas (some staining)

Very relaxing with peaceful and...

Liked: Breakfast, restaurant and gardens.
Disliked: Walls were not sound proof. Am looking forward to the renovations and health spa facilities. Difficult loading luggage. A porter would have been beneficial for older guests.

Charming 'old world' feel in...

Liked: wonderful breakfast, delightful room, beautiful garden & loved the pool which we had completely to ourselves
Disliked: pity the spa wasn't available - a massage or facial would have been nice

Very good

Liked: the light was poor, and the view to the beautiful garden wasn't so good because the shutter was not adjustable enough, some not working, but when you go outside, everything is amazing like the pictures and even better. I love it and will definitely visit again.

One of the grandest places...

Liked: A grand old estate turned into accommodation set in a beautiful country escape atmosphere. The Hordern Restaurant in the great house was exceptional. The staff were lovely, friendly and professional. The rooms were a good size and quite comfortable.
Disliked: The grand old dame that the house is does need a bit of lippy and make-up, but she will be undergoing a multi-million $ revamp soon, so I can imagine her reliving her glory days once again.

Disliked: meals menu limited and too expensive
