Great location and good hotel

Liked: Good location, friendly staff and the building courtyard was lovely
Disliked: Room was not properly cleaned; the toilet wasn’t properly walled off - essentially everything was just in one big room and the toilet is next to the bed both in terms of sound and smell; room had connection door to other room which made us hear a lot of our neighbours including a 4am hysteria; one of the main reasons we booked was the ‘breakfast included’ line which is very misleading as you’re only offered a juice and a piece of bread with jam

A true boutique experience. We...

Liked: We loved the character of the building. The common areas were well presented. The staff especially Lupita were great and very helpful. The breakfast included was light and tasty extra dishes were available to purchase. Herbal tea and coffee were available (made at reception by staff) 24 hours a day.
Disliked: We would have preferred to be able to make a hot drink in our room, although have come to realise this isn’t often available in Mexico. There was no black tea eg English Breakfast or Assam.

Nice hotel close to Centro...

Liked: The service was great, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially Lupita. Our room was as described, spacious, comfortable, and immaculate. The location is excellent, minutes from the main square (zocalo) and the cathedral. Breakfast was simple but tasty, and there was an a la carte option as well.
Disliked: Traffic noise noticeable in the early morning and early evening. However, no issues sleeping. Internet was spotty... unable to use our TV Prime subscription.
