Liverpool city center can be reached in 20 minutes' drive and Aintree Racecourse is 10 minutes away by car. Great location for my hospital...

Liked: It was close to the hospital as I had a very early appointment time the following day.
Disliked: Was promised a table at the restaurant if we asked on arrival but the staff left us waiting in the bar for over an hour and other people were being seated before us.

Disappointing

Liked: Bed was comfortable, room was large, late checkout
Disliked: Unfriendly and disinterested staff, no soundproofing and very thin walls, no chair in the bedroom, windows broken, poor toiletries, rubbish hairdrier, lukewarm shower, expensive restaurant

Very good

Liked: The room. Comfortable although some of the furniture was chipped. Bed & pillows were very comfortable. Everything seemed clean. Room a good temperature. Reception staff were attentive.
Disliked: Breakfast low end; porridge in a carton / white bread / packet marmalade / selection of cereals limited. The continental breakfast is actually poor value.
