It was ok but it...

Liked: The property charged me £60 pounds to upgrade. I received an offer of £50 and TOTAL £50 from booking.com . To a club family room. It didnt really feel very special, not very spacious really. Altogether rather underwhelming. I don't really care that it was an extra £10 pounds. But it's the principle it's miss selling, I'mand a falsely enticing my custom and then when I get there it's extra. What if I didn't have the extra....?Id honestly out of principle like the 10 pounds refunded. And unfortunately I will not be booking the Milenium Gloucester rd again.

Better value than most.

Liked: Polite , helpful and welcoming staff. Good selection at breakfast time.
Disliked: The room was adequate, but some of the electrics need some attention. Behind the headboard was some taped wires and old fashioned junction box. Under the unit where the TV was, was an old extension lead which fed into another extension box that was on the dressing table. I would have just expected better standards from a hotel in London.

Liked: staff very helpful and I felt safe
Disliked: room facilities quite basic but I guess "little extras" all get stolen these days which is sad - littlethings like soap tissues a pen or pencil but room itself was comfortable
