The overall price was good for a two night stay and the hotel is located within 10-15 minutes of downtown Durham and 25 minutes from the airport. Check in and check out were fast and efficient. I was a bit surprised that I was asked to put a $100 incidentals charge/hold on my room although I suppose it's standard. I think the Millennium Durham is due for some upgrades to its exterior, parking areas, hallways and entry ways. That said, it was a good stay.

Liked: Convenience to downtown Durham. The price was okay as well.
Disliked: The rooms and hallways are a bit dated but overall clean and tidy.

Liked: Front desk was very nice and upgraded our room due to noise of night club.
Disliked: Decor and rooms need to be updated and modernized. Also, please take the night club out of the hotel - it's tacky.

Liked: The shower was not good and the tub was uneven.

Disliked: They charge a deposit of $100 dollers while checking in. It has been more that 2 weeks since i checked out, I haven't yet received my deposit. They are not responding to my emails.

Liked: Breakfast was delicious.. not fond of paying for it out of pockets. But good value for quantity and quality.
Disliked: Have plenty of customer service avail. Only one working and one trainee. Had to wait 40 min to check in mainly due to a large party checking it.. didn’t like hot tub not working but they told us that ahead of time. Bathroom door would not stay clod tv toilet paper holder kept falling off.

Disappointing

A "Resort Fee"?

Liked: The ambiance is very elegant. I noticed real linen, glasses and silverware in the restaurant area. The wiid paneling and lobbby decorations have the feel of luxury.
Disliked: There is no clock/alarm in the room. There were no hangers in the closet and the bathroom barn door would not move. And a "Resort Fee" of $17.03 per day is added to your bill. I was told this fee is for the free Wi-fi, pool and gym use and for parking.
