Liked: The property was next to the football stadium.Also it's walking distance to the underground station.
Disliked: I have to go to next hotel for breakfast

The location was marvellous especially...

Liked: The lady on the desk was understanding as I only got to floor 2 and had to come straight back to her to see if she would change my room to floor 2 and she did which was a relief for me. The fear of heights came to me only as high as floor 2!
Disliked: There wasn't anything to not like except how high the building is and I'm afraid of heights! I was kindly given floor 2 which was OK for me so I felt "safe" and just didn't look out of the window!

Great staff, couple of issues...

Liked: Staff were friendly and good location
Disliked: The air conditioning was broken so the room was unbearably hot. They did bring me a fan and said they would sort the issue while i was out but when i came back from an evening out it hadn't been fixed.I had to sleep with the window as open as it would go and it was really noisy so didn't get a good night sleep

A tired hotel lacking upkeep...

Liked: It was OK but overall the hotel is tired. Broken tiles and fixtures in the bathroom. Minimal facilities on offer. Would only stay here again out of need for the location.
Disliked: Its a Millenium and a Copthorne. Two well recognised hotel brands, but honestly no better equipped than the Premier Inn or Travelodge.

Will avoid staying here again...

Liked: Little to say that was actually good. The reception staff helped with luggage on arrival and departure
Disliked: The room wasn't properly cleaned. There was faulty lighting, lampshades kept falling off bedside lamps. The complimentary tea/coffee weren't replenished despite asking numerous times. No one answered the phone upon calling reception even though I could see they weren't busy as my room looked onto the reception area and staff were chatting among themselves. Unresponsive room service, accepting request which never turned up. The bed mattress was awful and unsupportive. When I asked about breakfast options the receptionist didn't really know nor care what might be available. A classic example of a chain hotel that's given up on service and probably doesn't train its staff either.
