Liked: Lovely suite, fire place, big windows, easy parking, sitting room, patio, quiet environment, comfortable bed, easy walk into Half Moon Bay, fireplace that turned on automatically on cold mornings.
Disliked: Lovely antique bathtub, but water was never hot enough for a hot bath. Long outdoor stairway to room, less than ideal for someone in his seventies. No hospitality service for 3-day stay. Breakfast coupons at a coffee shop two blocks away from facility, expensive for three nights (almost $800).

Liked: Beautiful old nicely maintained guesthouse ideally located near cafes and eateries along Main Street. Guadalupe, the innkeeper was friendly and helpful. Comfy bed and common areas.
Disliked: Wifi was a bit slow in spots.

Liked: Great location. Clean, spacious, quiet, attractive room. Enjoyed the cookies and nightcaps. Staff we did encounter by chance or belatedly were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Contacting staff was problematic because no one was immediately available on site. When the remote for the fireplace, the only heat in the room, did not work, our first phone call went unanswered. A second phone call a half hour later did result in help 15 or 20 minutes later, but the remote remained difficult to operate. Directions for devices and checkout would have been helpful: we intended to return to our room after using the breakfast voucher, but on our return before the 11 a.m. checkout, we discovered our room was already being cleaned for the next guests, but the cleaner was not there.

Liked: quaint mansion, surrounded by beautiful front and court yards, in an amazing location, extremely cozy rooms and very comfortable beds. Ideal for a weekend getaway.
