Enjoyable due to the basic...

Liked: Convenient location. Rooms were eclectically decorated which I loved. The beds were comfortable and the addition of a full fridge and oven top AND microwave were great. Wonderful view out of the back windows to the river below.
Disliked: Asked for a handicap supported room and was notified online that request was honored. Ours wa not a handicapped room. The heat in the room was not turned on- it was 52 degrees when we entered after 4 hours in a driving rain storm and being damp and cold. There were no tissues to be found in the room - used toilet paper. The windows should be cleaned to accentuate the view from the room. Lots of clicking thumping knocking noise from the heat that would keep some light sleepers awake.

Liked: Great location to the University of Maine. Beautiful spot right on the river and next to some great restaurants in Old Town.
Disliked: There was a slight problem with our heat when we first arrived, but the owners were on the problem within minutes and fixed everything. They were very helpful and prompt.
