Not so practical but location...
Liked: The location was amazing
Disliked: Our room had no windows, the light it’s a bit aggressive since there is no lamps but cramming lights, the air conditioner doesn’t really work, its very far and hidden on top of the bathroom so it never gets hot. If you come with friends, it’s kinda sketchy to go in the shower, there is no room or space to change, the shower get flooded also so it’s not a great option to dress in it. The rooms are not isolated so you can hear everything specially the coffee place in the morning. There is not enough light plugs so your only option to work is in your room.

Pleasant
Liked: It was very central and perfect for a night
Disliked: The room didn't have a real window so the air doesn't circulate well in the room and it smells a bit. There weren't enough plugs

Pretty hotel, terrible administration
Liked: Pretty hotel, bad administration, good restaurant, good location (but there are many other hotels around)
Disliked: It is a pretty hotel with a very good restaurant/cafeteria, however, the organization at the front desk and the administration is very bad. Location is good, walking distance to every touristic spot in the map, but there are many other hotels around with probably better administration. We weren't happy there due to several issues. It doesn't have parking garage, but they supposedly have an agreement with the parking garage at the convention center. In reality, nobody talks to each other, so when there is a problem, nobody can solve them, and nothing can be done, they just repeat: "I don't have the authorization to do it". The hotel manager (a lady) can't be bothered to come up with a solution and let the employees solve the problem as best as they could, but since they don't have the decision power, it quickly became a headache. In our case, the problem started when we came back from an event after midnight and were not allowed to enter at the garage, even when the guard knew and recognize us as guests of the Hotel Milagro. But since someone at the hotel reception forgot to notify the garage, we were not allowed to enter (after midnight) and not even allowed to enter paying for the night by ourselves. They just denied the entrance to the car. We had to look for a garage in the area (at the time, all were already closed). After one hour driving around, the guy at the hotel called a nearby hotel where they allowed us to park in their garage. It was a bad incident and the next night we moved to the other hotel because we didn't want to be in the Hotel Milagro anymore. It was the best decision.Wii-fi connection is shaky and difficult to find. A/C offered in the rooms is a very small a/c ventilator barely functioning. There´s not elevator to bring the luggage up, there are two flights of steps to climb.

Relaxing
Liked: Even though it is located in a crowded area, at night it was quiet, very comfortable. And the restaurant is great.

Overcharged by staff with no...
Liked: Beautiful location with nice air conditioned rooms
Disliked: Credit Card users beware - Overcharged by staff and they refused to refund me. They used something known as Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC). According to the Mastercard and Visa guidelines staff must provide THE CONSUMER with the OPTION to pay in either MXN or AUD/USD/EUR/GBP depending on the cards base currency. I was never provided with an OPTION. The person behind the counter sneakily chose to charge me in AUD with a marked up 10% fee without my consent, this is a violation of the Mastercard and Visa rules. I always pick MXN as the fee for using another currency is 10%+. Dynamic Currency Conversion is used by businesses to scam consumers from other countries into paying 10%+ more than they should be, the bank and business share the profits from this, it is completely unethical. I asked for the manager several times throughout my stay but she was never at the property, this was quite disappointing, I was not provided with a refund for the approximately $12AUD (150MXN) that I was overcharged. To be clear I don’t care about the money but I’m offended that this business decided to rip me off and hope the same won’t happen to other patrons. Some advice: if you are going to run a business - DO NOT scam your customers into paying 10% more than they agreed upon. You need to ask for consent for using DCC.

A historic hotel located in...
Liked: The hotel is conveniently located for exploring the town center. On Saturday, we began by exploring Calle de Dulce, Zocalo, and the Saturday market in the barrio de Los Sapos. We discovered that the hotel was positioned in a way that made it easy to visit the main attractions. The staff was friendly and allowed us to store our luggage on the day of arrival before check-in and on the day of departure after check-out.
Disliked: The bathroom has frosted glass and is located right next to the bed. Only two towels are provided for a family of 4.
