Liked: Beautiful Art Deco hotel
Disliked: Nothing!

Fab.

Liked: Evening meal was glorious. Breakfast was brought straight from the kitchen piping hot rather than serving yourself half cool slop. The hotel is amazing. The sunset was phenomenal.
Disliked: The ceiling in the extended conservatory bar/restaurant needs attention in places.

Iconic Midland, and long may...

Liked: Huge room with double aspect of the sea and the promenade of Morecambe. Recently refurbished, with a clever design of hiding the toilet from view. Comfortable bed. Good tea and coffee making facilities with lovely biscuits. Breakfast was nice with some self service and orders taken for cooked breakfast which was excellent. Bacon was very well cooked. Dinner was also excellent with a good choice of pub classics, but also pheasant, steak, duck and fish.
Disliked: The reception area is at the end of the bar area and was a bit messy. Could do with a clear out of superfluous items such as clothes, sweets, lots of paper work.

Disliked: We had no notification that the grand bar was closed and that’s what we were looking forward to having a few evenings in

Liked: Balcony room fantastic.
Disliked: Had to put my bread through the toaster 10 times to produce proper toast. Only thing really, pretty much perfect.

Lovely stay, great staff, cold...

Liked: The 1920s art deco design of the building and the rooms were so enjoyable. The staff were super friendly, and the food was great. The view of the sea in the room and in the dining area was perfect.
Disliked: The dining area does seem a bit like a hallway rather than a room, and was really chilly throughout the evening. We dressed for dinner (it was my partner's birthday), but after 5 minutes I had to return to the hotel room to get jumpers and coats, which we wore throughout.

Disliked: Some fruit to go with yogurt for breakfast. Very slow service, Not told re arrangements for self service etc. our plates were not removed when empty. I had to put them on another table to make room for toast and coffee plate. But the food was very good quality.
