Easy going cottage break with...

Liked: Lovely location, short walk from Glastonbury tor, in and around beautiful countryside.Great having farm shop cafe on site for sumptuous breakfasts. All staff attentive and friendly.
Disliked: We didn't know about where to leave the key upon leaving. Great recycling there but food waste could be recycled rather than in general landfill waste.

Tranquil Farm Glamping Treat

Liked: This was a very neat, tidy and beautiful farm, well taken care of, with many accommodation options. It was quiet, serene, peaceful and a lovely retreat space. We traveled as a couple( not on retreat ) and we enjoyed the space and surrounding areas. It is close to Glastonbury town, with a car and offers' lovely walks and a restaurant in a tranquil farm setting. The room was smaller than we expected from the photos, but suited our needs. It was warm & cozy, with added cutlery, plates, cups, cleaning goods etc put in a neat box for use. The bathroom is separate from the unit, but is a private bathroom for your room only. It was a great size bathroom and also warm and neat with lovely smelling natural liquid soap.
Disliked: All good, however as a guesthouse owner, I have only some suggestions that could better the space:1. Air fresher in the toilet would be a great addition, as there is no windows when sharing the room, an added bath mat would be great.2. More hooks in the bathroom are needed & some simple shelf spaces for toiletry bags and clothes to be left there3. More hooks in the rooms are needed for coats, towels etc. as leaving them out in the night soaks them.4. An ashtray should be added on the deck table.5. A bigger fridge in the room as there is space available for it.6. Bedside reading lights should be added to the walls on each side of bed, as the side table is small and needed for personal items.7. Tissues should be added to the room & a hairdryer.8. THE BIGGEST SUGGESTION: would be to add a communal shared space that acts as a kitchen / meal preparation space, with an oven, stovetop/ gas, a bigger fridge & a microwave, kettle & toaster with necessary bits to compliment the preparation & cooking of great meal with a table & chairs & cleaning facilities. This really was the only big thing missing, as with UK weather barbecuing is not a daily option & the space in the room does not allow for this preparation or keeping any left overs. This addition would be absolutely perfect on this farm and create a space out of the freezing/ wet weather to allow for greater comfort for your patrons as well as being a true Glamping experience, as camping without cooking is half the fun! 9. Tea & Coffee should be filled up daily with added milk (if the kitchen space suggested above is not an option)I hope these thoughts are helpful. We hope to return again next year!

Beautiful and peaceful

Liked: The accommodation is set in a beautiful location, with Glastonbury Tor in view. I'd say you probably want a car to get to Glastonbury, but that was a very short drive away. The beds were really comfy, and the experience was overall very cosy.
Disliked: I wish there were more packs of tea. It would also have been nice for breakfast to be discounted/free for the price of the stay, but both are more of a nice to have, and didn't take away from the overall experience.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Disappointing

Liked: The location
Disliked: When we arrived before 5pm, exhausted, after a terrible journey through heavy rain and traffic there was no one at reception to greet us. We had to wait 15 minutes for someone to appear who didn’t apologise and was sarcastic because we didn’t know the name of our accommodation. It’s usual to give your name at reception on arrival and then to be shown to your accommodation. I didn’t realise that “studio cabin” was actually a name. I really can’t stand “attitude” from people who are supposed to be providing a service. The floor of our “studio cabin” was worn and dirty and the shower room really needs updating. It was overpriced for what it was. I was glad it was only 2 nights.

Not the experience we expected...

Liked: The location was beautiful
Disliked: Despite calling the number on the door, we waited a considerable amount of time to actually get keys to the property and had to eventually disturb a member of the farm shop staff who was displeased at being bothered. Unfortunately when we got into the pod, we found it to be quite dirty and not up to the standard of the advertising images. The sheets were filthy, there were dead flies all over the bed and a good amount of dog hair at the end of the bed, as well as a dirty floor. The pod on the whole did not meet our expectations and we felt so uncomfortable we promptly left.
