Middletons is a collection of six historical Grade-II listed building located around a secluded courtyard garden in the heart of York city center 2625 feet from York Rail Station and York Minster. It offers complimentary access to a fitness center with a gym. The hotel is 7 minutes' drive from York Racecourse. Individually decorated the rooms with attached bathroom have free high-speed WiFi a TV and tea and coffee-making facilities as basic facilities. I would stay again but...

Liked: The breakfast was lovely so was the lunch, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Bed was comfy, room service amazing, lovely location.
Disliked: The shower corners could have been cleaned better the fan ceiling was dusty. The window was filled with cobwebs and looked like it has not been cleaned for a long time. The sink didn't drain properly.

We had a were coming...

Liked: The breakfast was nice apart from the coffee which was way too strong . Asked for extra hot water which did help.
Disliked: The shower in room 38 needs a lot of work . There is a lot of mould and orange staining. The tea tray was odd. Two people in the room but only one teaspoon . One hot chocolate. Hairdryer can only be switched on with the main plug. Noise from the car park is horrendous.

Very impressed

Liked: The property was bigger than I expected, the room was smaller than I expected but still was good and the bathroom was brilliant, if I could have I would have took the shower back home with me. Overall very clean and really liked it
Disliked: Nothing I can think of
