A Great Stay
Liked: I request for the upgraded room and got it for free. I don't remember the name of the gentleman who worked the front desk that night. He was very nice and welcoming. The room I stood in was missing a remote for the TV and the man at the front desk got it to me within 10 minutes and he was working by himself at the desk on a busy new year eve. That is a great example of customer service. For the amount I paid, definitely got my money's worth. I will stay with them again in the future

Doubt we’ll stay here again.
Liked: Comfortable beds, price.
Disliked: No one at check-in when we arrived at 3 pm. Hitting the dinger brought no one. My wife had to go looking for someone. He finally arrived. Breakfast was skimpy and mediocre.

Liked: (PS. This says my country of origin in Spain. it is US).....continuation of what I did not like.. in a unfriendly mood, and not dressed very well, she walked into a side room, came back and half heartedly filled the plastic container with more food stuff. The mechanism to add it to a cup hardly worked even then. And then the fun started. Let me ask you. Do you rent out the rooms on a weekly basis at an extremely low cost, like a flop house? Do you have a contract with the local social service agent to house homeless? Over the course of about 20 minutes, which is all the time my partner and I could stay in the room, I have never in my life seen a more motley and desperate looking group of people come in and out. They came “dressed” in all kinds of attire, ripped, dirty clothes, shoeless, except for maybe flip-flops, etc, disheveled hair of the men and women….. of course I didn't dare take any pictures, but it was quite a sight. Although they left us alone, it still felt very unsafe. Excuse me, but it was.We quickly went up to our room to pack and leave. When I went downstairs, I wanted to get a receipt, but of course there was no one at the desk and no one to be found to help me. I wanted to get a receipt to make sure, under the circumstances of the unpleasant visit, that I am not overcharged for this extremely horrible experience. I believe my stay was about $89 including the room and fees. You people should be ashamed of yourself. This hotel was more of a flophouse than anything. Any respectable person should not have to experience the same as we did. This review will go on Yelp and wherever else I can warn people about the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham, West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Disliked: From my decades of traveling nationally and internationally, I will say that that was the worst experienced that I have ever had in my life staying at any “hotel” including this stay at the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham West Chester, Pennsylvania From the very beginning, it was absolutely horrible. While at home, it took me about twenty minutes to finally get through your on line "advanced check-in process." The site said filling out the information would allow me to just pick up my key and go right to my room. When I arrived no desk clerk to be found. My partner and I rang the bell many times. After about. twenty minutes at minimum, some disheveled guy walked through the front door from the outside and started gathering information about my stay. I said I had filled out information so that my check-in would be quick. He paid no attention to that, and I had to provide him all kinds of information which took him about ten minutes. Then we went up to the room. The hallway rug had pieces of “stuff,” papers, etc. all over it, indicating that they hadn't been vacuumed in quite a while. There were some areas where the rug was very worn and stained. The room was adequate, albeit very small. I did find hair on towels in the bathroom. That really disgusted me.Then, in the morning when I went down I was the first one in the "breakfast room,” I found it to be filthy. The three or four tabletops were sticky and had pieces of food and small bits of paper all over them. Since I was the first one there in the morning, according to someone who walked in after me, who may have worked in the hotel, I am assuming that the table tops never get cleaned. The room was a mess. Chairs were stacked up facing the wall. The food counter was dirty. The machine didn't work that provided liquid for the waffles.
