Overall, my day was good....
Liked: Rooms were very clean, interior design looks brand new and very fresh.
Disliked: Lack of amenities, such as swimming pool, hot tub, fitness center.

Nice place to stay.
Liked: Complimentary breakfast was very good. Location worked out well for my brief visit to Springville. I’d stay here again.

Liked: It was clean and the staff was welcoming. Great selection of beverages at breakfast.
Disliked: The shower was terrible. There were 2 shower heads and neither had enough water pressure to rinse shampoo from my hair. The walls are paper thin and we could hear every little movement and/or noise of other guests. Especially lovely was the man who was violently puking at 6 am. I know the hotel has no way of preventing someone from getting sick, but it really sounded like he was vomiting next to my bed….splash sounds included.

Liked: The room was very clean, although the heating/cooling system was mysterious and not responsive. We looked up Vtec online and think we learned how to operate the controls to avoid the swing between icy coldness and suffocating heat. The staff when available, were nice although I would have appreciated someone being at the desk when I first arrived from a 7+ hour car trip. Instead, I waited for anyone to show for over 5 minutes. There was no bell, no sign. No one at all was anywhere in sight. The next day before leaving, I'd asked the staff about the email just received from Microtel regarding the charge for the room for one night, even though I'd already booked and paid for the room through booking.com. I was concerned that I'd be double charged. And in fact, I was double charged.
Disliked: Not only was I charged for my one night stay from booking.com, which I fully expected, I'm also being charged for my one night stay by Microtel. Why? I called Microtel about this after returning from my trip, but was told by this person that only the manager would be able to deal with this. The manager, only because I'd asked, would not be in until Tuesday. It was only Saturday. The double charge for the room, therefore, has not been resolved.

Disliked: Breakfast wasn’t great. Individually wrapped omelettes etc that you could microwave, and only one microwave available.
