Do not stay here - spend the extra money and stay somewhere nicer that is closer to the airport!

Liked: It was close to stores to be able to purchase razors that my husband had forgotten to pack!
Disliked: Room was small; it was like 10 miles away from the airport; staff lost my reservation; staff was rude!

Mediocre diggs would have been...

Liked: The bed was clean, and the room was clean. The staff was nice and polite. The breakfast area could have been cleaner. The price on booking.com was a value.
Disliked: When I made the reservation, I was told there was an airport shuttle at 1215 and 115 am. When I arrived at the airport, I was told the last shuttle was at 1245. So I had to hire a taxi. I could have stayed at the airport, a better hotel for the same money as the current hotel and taxi combined. The toilet paper roll had a brown substance on the side of the roll - blood or feces - that was surely just missed by the cleaning staff. The tub was very small, and the shower head was almost too loose to position in a usable place. There were several unrepaired dents in the drywall, no big deal, but a crack from floor to ceailing in the corner of the bathroom. The room door was falling off the top hinge, so I had to lift it to close the room. TV reception seemed like digital broadcast and bad reception. The restroom by the breakfast area trash was overfull.

It was ok for one...

Disliked: They didn’t have a lot of toiletries and when I asked for shampoo they said I couldn’t get it until 11 and I was checking out before then

Terrible Microtel hotel experience in...

Liked: The location in respects to the airport
Disliked: (1) The room wasn't very clean, especially the bathroom; (2) I reserved and paid for a room for my family, who were arriving later, and the desk person gave that room to someone else. (3) We decided that we weren't going to stay the extra night in both rooms that I paid for, and the hotel would not reimburse me for the additional night we didn't stay. Thus, they took my money from me for the second room while also getting paid (probably for the second night as well) twice by the other guest who they gave our reserved room to. We were there from different parts of the country for our aunt's viewing and funeral services, and this was a terrible experience. I was told that this hotel gets a lot of complaints. I will never stay at this hotel chain again.
