Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Philadelphia Airport Ridley, Ridley Park

Quiet and very nice. I'll be coming back for a stay soon. The breakfast wasn't shabby either. LOL.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: It's basic but good enough for short stays.
Disliked: Transfer to the airport took 40 minutes! to pick us up. I called the front desk and they were kind of rude

Clean, comfortable and affordable.

Liked: No problem with anything regarding my stay. The location was perfect for my needs. Easy access to the airport and center city Philadelphia. There is a restaurant and convenience store within walking distance and although travelling alone, I felt safe and comfortable.I would definitely recommend the Microtel Inn & Suites and would positively consider staying there again when in the area.
Disliked: Although they have 24 hour desk service, I did find it difficult to get someone to answer the phone the day before my arrival.

Disappointing stay due to unreliable...

Liked: Initially, when I first checked in, I thought that this hotel would be fine. I planned to book it again when my husband and I travel together to the same area in April. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, as were the pillows,.and it was quiet.
Disliked: The WiFi went down on my second day there and remained out for two more days. (It was still down when I checked out.) That made trying to get work done difficult, and it was difficult even to contact my husband, who was still in the UK. (I travelled solo this time and had a UK phone. I had planned to use the advertised WiFi.) I understood the wind took it out, but for it still to be out two days later when other hotels in the area weren't having problems was curious. I overheard a desk clerk checking in a guest and telling her the WiFi was free, but he didn't mention that it wasn't working. I travelled in early December and was surprised that although there were two beds in the room, each one had only a top sheet and a very lightweight bedspread: no blankets, comforters, or duvet was provided. Later, I was chatting with another guest who had reqested blankets; she complained that the blankets were so thin that they didn't help much. In April, I think I'll pay a little more and book a hotel that (I hope) has more reliable WiFi and blankets.
