Liked: The property is conveniently located.
Disliked: The room was not worth the price. There were small holes in the wall. The beds were uncomfortable and the heater kept going on and off. The breakfast equipment wasn't working even asking the front desk twice to fix it. You could see a dirty looking film in the pool and the spa didn't work. On top of all that I was charged more than I was quoted but didn't notice until I got home five hours away.

Good value for the money

Liked: Microtel in Minot is an inexpensive option in south Minot, within reasonable walking distance (in case you don't have a car) to the mall, Walmart, plus other shopping and places to eat in that part of town. The hotel has a small pool and a gym. Breakfast is your basic cereal and cheap yogurt affair. Not particularly appetizing, but does the job if you don't have time for anything else.
