Not impressed

Liked: Front desk receptionist at check in was very kind
Disliked: Sadly, we have stayed here a few times. We live out of town and sometimes, we do not want to drive an hour home.As the years pass since opening, Microtel is no longer impressive. At 8am you were out of food and no one had any interest in refilling the food. Pillows are horrible, water in shower was luke warm and pressure was horrible as there is a leak.

The room was large, clean...

Liked: A bit isolated - would have been nice to walk downtown but Walmart was within walking distance.

Disappointing facilities

Liked: It was disappointing
Disliked: Torn carpets with duck tape in the halls, poor housekeeping, stained mattress, dirty walls, pool out of service. Staff was unprofessional.

Liked: Breakfast was good. Location worked well for us
Disliked: Room was cramped. Bath tub looked dirty

Liked: It was easy to check in.
Disliked: It was so dirty. Bed covered in dog hair. Shower head had no fixture coving so just sheet rock showing. Bathroom had hair everywhere. Microwave had dirt or dried food all over outside. Opening to entryway was so small couldn't get my luggage through the Opening between mini fridge and door frame. Inch thick dirt and dust in ac unit. Ice machine on third floor doesn't work. Room is just big enough for the queen bed and that's it. Wifi didn't work. The breakfast was a joke. Rooms are so loud you can hear everything going on in other rooms around you. No ID was asked for to check in. Tv remote didn't work. Very old inside.
