One dissapontment after another.
Disliked: NO ice. The desk clerk said that she could not give me any money for ice or buy any ice. They did not have any lids for the coffee cups.

Liked: The room was clean and staff were friendly.
Disliked: You could hear people in the next room and hallway.

A convenient and reasonably priced...
Liked: We did not have breakfast on the premises. The location was very convenient because we were able to walk to the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts for a concert we attended while there. The room was adequate - the beds were comfortable and the room (especially the bathroom) was clean.
Disliked: The insulation between the walls to the adjoining unit was inadequate to prevent noise and conversations from being heard until almost midnight.

I would happily stay here...
Liked: The staff was very kind and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. I'd be happy to stay there again.
Disliked: I thought the room had a fridge and microwave based on the pictures, but it did not. None of the rooms had these amenities listed, but staff said they come with double rooms. I had booked a single queen bed, which was lovely other than no fridge or microwave.

Liked: The breakfast we didn't have so couldn't rate. It was very outdated tvs to small but comfortable. Staff was friendly .

Liked: The staff was very polite, checking in was easy.
Disliked: They usually have hot coffee and hot water readily available upfront. Not so any more only for breakfast time. My door would not lock only discovered this when I was checking out. The clerk knew it was my room 118 when I mentioned it to her. She apologized and said they usually just jimmy it up or something to get it to lock. The AC cycled on and off all night keeping me awake. When I went over to adjust it the knobs were missing. I guess after using them for ten or more years now it's time to look elsewhere. The quality of Microtel is going down. I don't even mess with the continental breakfast anymore. Not appealing at all.
