Microtel Inn & Suites - Cartersville, Cartersville

Disliked: There was not any.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel, my 1st time in a Microtel. The price was fair for what I received and the facility was clean.

Liked: Clean room; had everything I needed/expected. Facility was quiet. I felt safe in my surroundings. The check-in lady was extremely friendly.
Disliked: The Continental Breakfast could be upgraded a little. It's pretty skimpy.

I was not expecting much of this hotel - however, I was pleasantly surprised. Sold out, yet super patient staff, with attention to detail and great suggestions for local food. Clean rooms. They stepped up to the plate with a sold out status, and everyone was wonderful!

Liked: Quiet clean room the only thing was the bottom of the tub was a little dirty but other than that it was a great stay

Liked: The breakfast consisted of sweets and more sweets. Danishes, muffins, pancakes, flavored sweet oatmeal, and sugared cereal. Would have enjoyed it more if there had been healthy food options available.
Disliked: I didn't like when the housekeepers got your dirty towels each morning, because they were never brought back. Instead i had to go retrieve them myself each time. Toiletries were no exception to the rule, having to ask and get them yourself each day. Guests should not have to hunt their room towels down daily to shower. The toiletries should be stocked and replaced daily without having to ask.Rooms are not as clean as they should be. I worked the front desk and in hospitality for 13 years in Cartersville,Ga and we had very strict rules and very high expectations at the motel I worked at. We went above and beyond to make sure our hotel was impeccable. Microtel needs a lot of changes, starting with the extremely young, rude, lazy, and very unprofessional staff.
