Disliked: Very strange room configuration and no bathroom counter space. Breakfast selections offered no protein and no fruit.

Liked: I liked that the location of the Microtel was down the street from the sports complex which is what we were in town for.
Disliked: I was bummed there was no pool, the parking was horrible due to it being right next door to a restaurant so I felt like they were parking in the hotels parking lot as well. The beds were rock hard, the room was really hot, the pillows were paper thin and the walls and doors are so thin we could hear what our neighbors were watching on tv.

Disliked: The room was quite old and poorly furnished. There was a very loud sound coming from the refrigerator, and there was a peculiar smell in the room.

Liked: It was clean, convenient, and economical.
Disliked: The elevator was creepy. The room could use some new doors.

JUDGEMENTAL PEOPLE

Liked: Property was nice & decent.
Disliked: First and foremost It was me, my husband & our 2 daughters when we stayed. FIRST it was a call at 2 in the morning saying we were loud or the tv was loud which neither was true my daughters went to sleep around 9. And the phone call is wat woke me up. Then The front desk knocked on the door around 8 in the morning saying someone complained of smelling weed. Im looking at her with the most confusion because thats impossible with my 2 daughters in here and on top of that WE don’t smoke. So she gave me til 12 to leave and I had another day to go. And Only got refunded 97 dollars from my deposit and paid $100. But overall just horrible and off top just JUDGING people because they are black. Everyone dont smoke just because they are black

Customer service is awful but...

Liked: Convenient location. Room was clean and comfortable
Disliked: We received no room service during our 5 night stay. When we requested extra bath linens, we were told to go downstairs and get them ourselves. When we requested a late check out, we were told we could check out at 11:30. Then at 11, we received a call asking if we wanted to extend our stay because we missed check out. I called the property a month in advance to verify the pet fee and was told by two different people that the fee is $25 per STAY. not per night. But upon checkout, I’m told that the employee who said it was $25 per stay was quitting so they lied about the fee? I was offered no apology, no compensation or price fix. Instead of the $25 fee I had planned for, I had to pay $125. I only booked this hotel because I didn’t want to pay $25 per night like all the otherr hotels in the area charged. We were extremely dissatisfied with their customer service.
