For $300.00 a night and that's a cheap room, you can do way better in the area, but it is very fancy if that's what you're into.

Liked: Spa; pool workout area very nice and relaxing.
Disliked: Not enough towels for 4 people and just one bar of soap; no real entertainment except gambling; no live music or such; no continental breakfast or in room coffee that didn't cost.

Liked: Besides the impressive hotel itself, the staff at the front desk to the valet parking attendants.

Disliked: I didn't hear about points I could eat, nothing said about using a pool. I left a coat in the room after check out and I called and no one called me back to advise of its status.

Opening Day Game Stay at...

Liked: The valet was very convenient as a complimentary service for hotel guests. Check in was easy and the staff was helpful and friendly. The view was beautiful, as was our room! Large, immaculate, and very inviting, my husband and myself were tempted to get comfortable and spend the rest of our Detroit stay in the room but we had things to do and see while in the city. The minibar was stocked with all kinds of spirits and beverages, the bathroom was luxurious with a large two-headed shower, and we couldn't wait to come back and relax that evening.
Disliked: Although it states that check out is not until noon, a housekeeper unlocked our door and began to come into our room mid-morning. For some reason, she thought that we had checked out when we had not. Although she apologized, it was unsettling.
