A welcoming central hotel

Liked: We only stayed one night, but the hotel is centrally located and very comfortable- we wished we had time to try out the pool too. We took the train from the airport, and the hotel was a very short walk from the station. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially Scarlett at the front desk.

Disliked: Room temperature control system was quite old, I couldn't set it myself and had to ask for a technician to come up and set the temperature.

Liked: Location is great. Central to downtown, quick access to transit, lot's of restaurants around with a range of prices. The bathroom is nice, with a lot of counter space. Great if you don't want to keep your grooming supplies in your luggage.
Disliked: The price when there is an event in Vancouver goes up really sharply. But that is the same for all of the downtown hotels. For 3 people, the room is tight quarters (standard, 2 queen beds).
