Liked: Bed, friendly staff
Disliked: Room temperature control system was quite old, I couldn't set it myself and had to ask for a technician to come up and set the temperature.

Bad

Disliked: had my boots stolen from the hotel during my stay.

Very good

Liked: Location is great. Central to downtown, quick access to transit, lot's of restaurants around with a range of prices. The bathroom is nice, with a lot of counter space. Great if you don't want to keep your grooming supplies in your luggage.
Disliked: The price when there is an event in Vancouver goes up really sharply. But that is the same for all of the downtown hotels. For 3 people, the room is tight quarters (standard, 2 queen beds).

Exceptional

Liked: The staff is exceptional. From the attentive, happy, helpful door men to the front desk attendee who is friendly and efficient, I felt valued.

Liked: The pillows and bed were very comfortable. It was essential and lovely to have the door to the balcony that I could open for fresh air.
Disliked: I requested a hypoallergenic room. Being greeted at the door by a staff member who was drenched in cologne was not a good start. The room was pretty good, despite lingering scent in the sheets and an uncomfortable level of fragrance in the bathroom. All that being said, you were much better than most hotels! Being able to sleep with the balcony door open helped. The coffee was awful.
