Overpriced

Liked: It was Ok, I probably wouldn’t stay there again I just don’t like the way the hotel is set up no real lobby, the facilities were old, ie elevator, faucets, no phone in the room!!! Again ok for a couple days but won’t be going back

AVOID- they have no functioning...

Disliked: No FUNCTIONING TOILET, elevator was broken, 2 TVs not functioning properly, no audio on channels on both TVs. Very bad visual on TV- pixelated digital screen.Having No Functioning Toilet was beyond reprehensible. First, I let the property know toilet was not functioning. Some guy turned up at the door and handed me a plunger. He tried blaming it on me ! Told me “not to put any toilet paper into the toilet.” “Put toilet paper into the trash can/bin.” When the “fix” of toilet did not work, I then asked to be moved to room with a FUNCTIONING BATHROOM, But staff, *Jose M.* Refused to move me and stated that he wouldn’t provide a refund ! told them I could not stay in a room with no bathroom & a full refund was due bc the property could not provide a bathroom. Then 5 minutes after speaking with Jose M at reception, I was still in the room collecting my things & I heard the door open & it was two new male guests rolling their luggage in ! They were given keys to my room while I was still there. I was shocked and surprised as were they ! This is incompetence at its finest. I’ve never had this happen in all my travels around the world. Full Refund is owed. Metropole should admit things went wrong on their end & provide a full Refund.

Liked: The hotel moved us to another room on request due to non functional heating.
Disliked: Hello Booking.com Thank you for your prompt response but it does not address the main element of my complaint. I booked a 2 bedroom suite for $1200 and expected a separate bathroom. What we got was a 2 bedroom suite with the bathroom located in one of the bedrooms like an en suite facility, meaning that the occupants of the other bedroom had to walk through the bedroom to get to the toilet etc.This is totally unacceptable. I have never encountered this before. Your website makes no mention of this and if I had known I would have booked 2 separate 1 bedroom suites. The receptionist said that all 2 bedroom suites were the same so the only solution was was for my daughter Joanna Roberts to book a 1 bedroom suite. This cost $600. I believe that the lack of information on your website about the 2 bedroom suites was misleading and has resulted in an additional $600 expense which could have been avoided had the necessary information about the 2 bedroom suites bathroom arrangement been available. I feel that I am justified in requesting a refund of $600.Sent from Outlook for Android

Quick Getaway

Liked: Great location. Right on S Beach. Close to everything. Perfect to sit right between Wet Willie’s and Fat Tuesday. Hotel rooms are spacious. Like having an apartment.
Disliked: Small bathrooms. Nowhere to put toiletries. TVs should be updated. Had to switch rooms. Outdated windows that do not lock.

great time

Liked: we had the 2 bedroom suite and it was perfect for our family. we had other family staying at the same location and our living room was big enough to accommodate the kids when they came down. our room was right in the middle of everything. I would only stay here in the same suite next time I travel to Miami.
Disliked: no issues
