Looks lovely - nice staff...

Liked: Beautiful design - nicely laid out. Nice room and bed. Lovely hot and powerful shower. Toilet and shower in separate cubicles. Lovely staff. Generally good breakfast. Gave me a wonderful “take out” bag to replace breakfast when I needed 4.30am check out for flight….. included in separate cups fresh fruit, yoghurt and corn flakes. What a treat at the airport!Loved the mini granary rolls at breakfast.Close to M51 Centraal Station metro line.Close to Yummy Bowls and supermarkets.
Disliked: Why do all expensive hotels have these AWFUL coffee machines! This one I tried 2 types - both were awful. No brown sugar to have with coffee! Fried “halal” bacon was cold!My room was cold. I came back after getting soaked in torrential rain but could not adjust the heating. I had a hot shower immediately and hopped into bed. Phone next to my bed did not call reception.I sent a message but nothing was done.I had to get up in early hours to pack my suitcase and it was freezing in the room.Resorted to using the hair dryer to dry my saturated coat - it was noisy but effective. According to the thermostat it raised the temperature of the room ( located near to cost hangers) by 2 degrees! Area near bed and bathroom facilities was freezing.No fridge in room for milk I bought for instant coffee.Taxi charged 50 Euro for airport. Another hotel I used that was closer to the centre of the city charged 42. Not sure why this area was more expensive.
