Brilliant location; really nice hotel; friendly staff on reception and accommodating night porter who willingly served myself and my partner drinks on coming back to the hotel late.

Disliked: Only one gripe, the lampshade in our room was particularly dirty and should be removed. Looks OK when lamp off, though when on, fillthy.

Lovely place to meet with...

Liked: Atmosphere. Comfortable beds. Location perfect. Clean room and lovely cleaning staff
Disliked: Was a bit chilly (but weather outside cold). Quite a distance from stairs with several doors to go through. Corridors got colder the nearer got to room. Curtains covered radiator when closed at night.

Disliked: The whole hotel needs a deep clean, from the room we stayed in to the corridors, windows, etc were all very dirty. we had used dressing gowns hanging in our rooms that the team changed for us only when we flagged it to them. The inside of the drawers in the room were dirty as were the handles. The corridor leading to room 102 was cold and had a plugged in radiator which was very ineffective.Overall I wouldnt stay here again due to the cleanliness issues.

Warm welcome

Liked: Staff were so welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and warm and had everything I needed, lovely toiletries in the bathroom, sufficient tea and coffee. The shower was powerful and hot and spotlessly clean.
Disliked: Bed is a little hard, but that's personal preference.

A friendly hotel for an...

Liked: The welcome when we checked in was very friendly and this continued throughout our stay. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful: reception, breakfast and housekeeping. We had a really lovely stay and would definitely return if we stay in Salisbury again. The hotel building has an olde worlde charm but the rooms are well equipped with a lovely large bed and a great shower. We had an extensive breakfast choice which we thoroughly enjoyed. We wished we could have had longer than one night's stay! Hope to return in the future.
