Liked: We opted for a room with a lake view, which was lovely and bright with an unobstructed view. The room was spacious and as described. Free drinking water is available in the lobby. The location is just out of central Queenstown. OK for the price as we booked very last minute.
Disliked: The staff could have been more helpful. We asked a member of staff if someone could help with our luggage - they said yes and went to find someone but no one came to help and that staff member went back to sitting at the desk. The rooms are fairly old and in need of an update. The carpets were stained in many places and the whole building is just a little tired (and smells it).

Liked: The room was spacious and very comfortable. The view was amazing. The location was good, but being just out of the main township and up a steep hill - guests should bear this in mind. There were plenty of options and choices in the buffet breakfast and the food was very nice.
Disliked: The only disappointment we had was that the bar area and casual dining (bar food) was very busy and we weren't able to utilise it. On each of our nights at the hotel, we found it necessary to go out for our evening meal.
