Great!

Liked: Great location, the proximity to shopping and the old-town is great. Bedroom was spacious for a solo guest and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great with a lot of selection.

Had a comfortable stay in...

Liked: Great location for sightseeing in Rennes.Rooms were very clean.Staff were very friendly and gave us lots of information on places to eat etc.
Disliked: My sister was in room 211 and there was not enough lighting. A table lamp or standard lamp would do the job.

Easily our worst hotel of...

Disliked: Attempted to downgrade the room contracted through booking.com, even though we pre-reserved. Had we not shown proof we would have been downgraded. They did not honor the request to place our child next to us and in fact put him two floors down away from us. The first room they assigned us reeked of cigarette smoke. We had to wait till a different staff person who knew something came on duty to make a change to a different room. The second room did not have a smell, but was filthy. Curtains stained and spotted. Hair on bathroom floor prior to our arrival. Overall this hotel seemed staffed by people who did not speak to one another, or understand hospitality, and who never had the answers to the questions we were asking. There seem to be no real management of the establishment.
