Wouldn't return. Not good value for money.

Disliked: Over priced drinks. Cold rooms and very basic. Decor in rooms.

Liked: room very clean. bed very comfortable, Staff exceptionally helpful cheerful and polite.
Disliked: public areas cold and noisy heater over tv. No usb ports in rooms

Liked: Breakfast was great and can't fault the central location staff were so helpful and cheery all in all a great value for money hotel in a central area.
Disliked: Furniture in our room was a bit dated but the room was spotless.

Despite it's good location this...

Liked: The location
Disliked: Firstly the room smelled, as if it had been flooded and the old carpet had been retained. Musty and unpleasant. Secondly please don't advertise what you can't provide. Despite several attempts to ask for this to be sorted, we had no internet in our room [12] for either of the days we spent there, the staff were unable to help us sort that out. I had to go and stand with my computer in the corridor, next to Reception, and far from my room, in order to get any sort of internet connection. Thirdly though we stayed over three days, no one cleaned the room. The cups we used on the first night were still uncleaned on day three, the room was not vacuumed; the tea and coffee etc was not refreshed/replaced; nor were the beds turned down. It simply wasn't cleaned. All in all and, despite the reception staff's efforts, it was the poorest hotel experience I have had in Scotland since I returned here in 2002.

Disliked: Bath was all discoloured and really did need a freshen up, tiles look as if they’ve been up since the 80’s

Downstairs area very nice, bedrooms...

Liked: Location, breakfast and staff were all very nice. I liked the original features of what im assuming was a mill
Disliked: The floors were so creaky and could easily hear tv, coughing, flushing, walking from other guests in neighbouring room.
