Disliked: Everything was good.

Location over comfort

Liked: Location was very convenient and close to both metro and bus. Good dining out options. Room was very quiet (with windows shut)Safe was provided in room so we didn't have to carry our passports around . Buffet breakfast was good but more expensive than eating at a cafe.
Disliked: Our room was very hot and we were unable to adjust the temp on the a/c. Being a street facing room on 2nd floor it was too noisy to have a window open at night. Plastic mattress protector on bed made sleeping hot and uncomfortable. Shower had no screens so water flooded the bathroom floor and extractor fan didn't seem to work.Single use cardboard cups were for coffee/tea in room. Would have preferred real crockery. (Perhaps a hangover from COVID days)Would I stay here again? Probably not.

Perfect Location

Liked: Lovely room, with very efficient air con, which was a welcome respite from a hot Paris summer. Friendly and welcoming staff. Fridge and coffee machine in room too. I requested a room at the rear. We knew about its red light location, but this didn't bother us. Our teenager was intrigued by the "shops" on either side of the hotel, but we just had a giggle about it. It didn't impact on our stay at all. Extremely convenient location for Gard du Nord and the metro to get around town.
Disliked: Nothing.
