Lovely clean quiet hotel with...

Liked: Quiet hotel, friendly helpful staff, spotlessly clean. Location is slightly out of the centre but you can walk along the river to the sights in about 20 minutes. Business district with not a huge amount going on but we liked that - the brasserie next door is a great spot with Parisians going about their business. In the hotel itself there's a nice space for having a coffee or a drink till late in the evening. It's right next to Quai de la Gare metro station and Bercy station is about ten minutes walk away. Very handy for Orly airport, the 14 goes directly from there to Bercy.
Disliked: Nothing, all good.

Room was way too small....

Liked: Location is ok.
Disliked: Housekeeping staff hardly speaks to you or make any eye contact. All front reception and cafe staff should know English as there were number of Non-French customers.

Nice hotel and staff, but...

Liked: Overall, a good hotel as such with very friendly staff.
Disliked: The room had bed bugs (!) and the hotel did not take it as seriously as it was required. From the size of the bed bugs (early and late stage) it was obvious that they had been around for at least a week. However, the hotel did neither inform previous guests of the affected room, nor asked professional pest control to take care of it. As much as I like the staff of the hotel, I think this is not acceptable and I will indeed not consider this hotel for future bookings.
