Mercure Oxford Hawkwell House Hotel consists of three buildings including two 19th century manor houses and is located in the surrounds of Iffley Village only 2 miles from the center of Oxford. Liked: Hotel is lovely set on gorgeous grounds.Staff were lovely and friendly.Blonde lady in restaurant was especially lovely
Disliked: Hairdryer in room 304 could be renewed.

Liked: Reception staff nice on arrival.
Disliked: Sadly we were put in a room in a building at the top of the car park and kept awake most of the night and morning as the light came through our door and also there was a terrible loud noise, perhaps a generator that kept going on an off throughout the night and morning. So very disappointing overall as sadly not much sleep. Hopefully we will be compensated for this as feel we paid quite a lot of money and were certainly not satisfied. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks

Nice staff, poor quality accommodation

Liked: Staff were lovely and very helpful. Staff helped me with my complaint and provided an additional heater
Disliked: The hotel room was heated only by an air con/heater - this is no good for those with Asthma. The unit smelt odd when running, and turned itself on in the middle of the night and woke us up.
