Liked: Wonderful stay on a beautiful and very well-kept property. The room was spotlessly clean and very spacious with a brand new bathroom and all mod cons. Very tastefully decorated.The connection to the city center is comfortable and convenient, the hotel's own bar and restaurant extremely good. Very charming staff.Perfect for excursions in and around Oxford - parking on site and the easy to reach bus connection were great advantages for our trip.Highly recommended and would happily stay again.

Liked: Room was clean and comfortable.Didn’t have breakfast as was priced at £18 and thought that was too expensive.Location was good ten mins from Oxford.
Disliked: Facilities needs updating,outside area also needs updating.Breakfast too expensive,should have been included in the price we paid.

Will definitely be staying again.

Liked: The property was spotless and we were in the separate building which made us feel like we had more privacy and it was a short taxi ride into town which the people on the front desk booked for us. All staff were friendly and helpful and the room was spacious.
Disliked: Nothing, everything was great

We enjoyed our stay despite...

Liked: The staff were pleasant and very helpful, especially given the issues concerning the room. The hotel kindly gave us some complimentary items in view of our Golden Wedding.
Disliked: We were not given the room that we booked. We were told that booking.com did not pass on the correct information to the hotel. We booked a Privilege Family room with a sofa but were given a smaller room with only a single chair. To their credit, the hotel managed to find us a suitable alternative room of a lower standard and provided an additional easy chair. We received a refund and some compensation but this should not have been necessary.

Liked: Absolutely beautiful hotel and a quick 10 minutes on the bus into the centre. The food was good for an evening meal, we did not opt for breakfast. The room was fabulous and very comfortable. It would benefit from a pool given its more remote location but for what it has, the hotel is presented well.
Disliked: Nothing, would recommend this hotel.
